A book review by Alison Price.
Of all the astrology books I have had the pleasure of reviewing over the years Learning Without Tears is in a class of its own. Connerr takes the Mercury archetype, well known by astrologers, to a new level. The author does not complicate the information being presented with an excess of technical terms, words and astrologese. She specifically uses regular dialogue to get her message across to the layperson. Read full review…

Noam Chomsky – 47.8% (Sun, Mercury, Ascendant, Saturn in Sagittarius)
Born on December 7, 1928, 7:00 AM in Philadelphia, PA, Noam Chomsky is professor emeritus of linguistics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and one of the most significant contributors to the field of linguistics in the 20th century. An author, political activist, philosopher and lecturer, Chomsky is the eighth most-cited scholar in history, which is very fitting for someone whose chart is nearly 50% Sagittarius.
Over the last decade, Noam Chomsky has become better known, especially to younger generations, for his political activism and criticism of US foreign policy as well as that of other governments. He is a fixture on the independent news program Democracy Now, on the university lecture circuit and in seemingly every new documentary made on the topics of war, politics, the environment and the media.
Jamie Lee Curtis – 46.7% (Ascendant, Venus, Mercury, Saturn in Sagittarius)
Born November 22, 1958, 8:37 AM in Los Angeles, CA, Jamie Lee Curtis is an American actress, and the daughter of actors Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh (“of “Psycho” fame). She got her start in the early 80s in a string of horror films but later became known for her down-to-earth comedic style. She has been married to British actor and comedic legend Christopher Guest since 1984 and they have two adopted children. In appearance and mannerisms, Curtis is the quintessential Sagittarius woman; athletic, outdoorsy, tomboyish, tall and lanky with a fresh, forthright sensuality that is timelessly appealing (often improving with age).
