Cosmic Love: Secrets of the Astrology of Intimacy Revealed by Jan Spiller (reviewed by Arwynne)
This is a fantastic book about relationships and the psychological “baggage” individuals bring to their relationships as described by their North Node. The book is divided into three parts which go into the meaning of their North Node by sign, its house placement in the chart of their partner and where their partner’s North Node falls in the individual’s chart, and finally, any aspects created between their North or South Node and the planets in their partner’s chart (and vice versa). She has a very accessible style that doesn’t rely on technical or even very complex astrological terminology, so beginners should be able to appreciate it purely on the basis of the wealth of practical advice and psychological insights it provides. It includes date tables so you can easily find your Node sign and that of your partner, provided you know their birth date, but for the house placements and aspects you will need both charts and a synastry (relationship comparison) chart for reference.
